Saugeen Shores police are reminding drivers to not wave other drivers through intersections.
Police say in a Facebook post, a two-vehicle collision shut down Port Elgin’s Goderich Street temporarily this week.
They say a pickup truck stopped at stop sign on Mill Street and was waved through by southbound traffic.
But according to police, northbound traffic was still flowing and the truck collided with an Audi. They say no injuries were reported.
Saugeen Shores Police say, this is a common occurrence at this intersection, adding, “Please do not wave traffic through. If proceeding please use caution and look both ways before crossing into through lanes.”
