Grey Bruce Public Health discussed the ongoing efforts to manage opioid overdoses in the region.
During their Board of Health meeting, an update was given regarding opioid poisoning and the drug crisis.
Public Health is continuing to work on risk assessment, as well as harm reduction.
They’re working to alert the public of overdoses to then ensure harm reduction, and they’re also focusing their efforts to expand naloxone accessibility.
They also want to work with partners to explore the magnitude of socially complex situations related to drug use.
