Bruce County is highlighting free income tax clinics to residents who are eligible.
As spring approaches, the county is highlighting the clinics through its Human Services department for those in need.
It’s being offered as a Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP).
The purpose of the program is to ensure that residents and families have their taxes filed, which will ensure that they are able to receive the tax benefits and credits that they are entitled to receive, such as the Canada Child Benefit.
You can find a local clinic by calling 211.
