A Wiarton man has won $100,000.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) says Ronald Hibbard won the top prize with Instant Jackpot Multiplier.
Hibbard says this is his first big win and he’s been playing Instant Jackpot Multiplier since it came out.
“I checked this ticket at the store, and I didn’t expect this to happen. The cashier was more excited than me!” he noted in a a statement at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
Hibbard plans to move to Nova Scotia and buy a fishing boat saying, “Nova Scotia is the perfect place for that.”
OLG says Instant Jackpot Multiplier is available for $10 and the top prize is $1 million. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.57.
The winning ticket was purchased at Wiarton Foodland on Berford Street in Wiarton.
