The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is partnering up again with Bruce Power to offer a virtual Earth Week for students.
This eco-themed program will feature two video presentations geared towards species at risk, their impact on local habitats and biodiversity, and what we can do to protect them, Bruce Power says in a release.
Additionally, there will be guest speakers, including Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority Conservation Education Coordinator Nancy Griffin, and Development Manager of the Bluewater Education Foundation Mike Schwindt.
Bruce County Museum Education and outreach Coordinator Dan Genis says, “the program connects to the Grade 6 Biodiversity strand of Ontario’s Science and Technology curriculum and will highlight how protecting and recovering species at risk and their habitat is a key part of conserving local biodiversity.
The video presentations are available for viewing on the Bruce County Museum website here.
