The Ontario Provincial Police is focusing on safety equipment as part of their annual Canada Day campaign which runs until July 3rd.
Grey Bruce OPP will be focusing on safety equipment on local roads, trails, and waterways.
They’re looking for everyone to use seatbelts, helmets, and personal flotation devices.
Grey Bruce OPP are also keeping an eye out for unsafe driving behaviours of speeding, aggressive driving, distracted driving, and impaired drivers.
They’re warning that each year the improper use or a lack of use of safety equipment contributes to the number of serious injuries and deaths on patrolled roads, waterways, and trails.
