The sad news has been circulating this morning that 44 year old Sharif Rahman has passed away.
His death is a result of the injuries he suffered on Thursday night when he was violently attacked by 3 men outside of his restaurant, The Curry House, in downtown Owen Sound.
I am heartbroken for his family who lost a husband, father, brother and son. Many community members lost a close friend.
On Wednesday a Vigil was held for Sharif so show love and support to his family.

There will be another one held on Sunday at 8pm in tribute.
Please meet at the Owen Sound City Hall if you wish to take part, the route will be the same.
Please come forward if you have any information. The police have released images of the men believed to be involved as well as a vehicle.

If you know, who these monsters are. Report them. Do not protect them as they do not deserve to be protected.
There is a GoFundMe that was set up a few days go to raise money to help the family. As of right now, over $132,000 has been raised. That money will now go towards covering the costs that the family will have to cover to lay him to rest as well as to help the family as their restaurant will be closed indefinitely.
