So, unfortunately this job is only open to US Residents, but I figure if it gets talked about enough maybe a Canadian company will also create this job!
CableTV.com is looking to hire someone to watch Christmas Movies and take on the title of “Chief of Cheer”. They will pay you $2500 if you watch 25 movies in 25 days.
The person who is chosen for this job in addition to the cash will get a year’s subscriptions to SEVEN streaming services including Netflix, Disney+ and Hallmark Movies Now.
The “Chief of Cheer” will watch the movies and also rank each of them using 3 categories: Nostalgia, Heartwarming Storytelling & Holiday Cheer.
They will also rank the streaming services used for this Christmas Movie Marathon.
Some of the movies that it’s suggested they watch are, but not limited to:
- A Charlie Brown Christmas
- A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
- A Christmas Prince
- An American Tail
- Are We There Yet?
- Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas
- Bridget Jones’s Diary
- Die Hard
- Elf
- Frosty the Snowman
- Frozen
- Happy New Year, Charlie Brown!
- Home Alone
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas
- It’s a Wonderful Life
- Jingle Jangle
- Klaus
- Last Christmas
