South Bruce OPP say a Walkerton resident is being charged with assault following an incident over the weekend.
Police say on Aug. 25 at 6:55 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Old Durham Road in Walkerton.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found people were in a verbal dispute which escalated into an assault.
As a result, Police say the 37-year-old accused was charged with assault.
