Grey Bruce OPP is looking for the public’s help as they investigate an incident in Meaford that happened in late August.
Police were called at around 12:30 the afternoon of Tuesday, August 27th to investigate what was believed to be 4-5 gunshots heard near Victoria Village on Victoria Street.
On September 4th, the OPP was called again after someone had heard several gunshots from a bush area in the same area.
On both calls, officers had set up a containment area and had assistance from the Emergency Response Team and the OPP Canine Unit, but the searches did not turn up a person of interest or any evidence.
Police are continuing their investigations, including canvassing nearby. No injuries were reported.
