West Grey is sending an advisory about campfires.
The municipality says no recreational campfires are allowed unless you have a permit, and that fires can be no larger than 60 centimeters in diameter.
They say you may only burn clean, dry wood and you must contain the fire, so that the smoke doesn’t disturb neighbors or nearby properties.
The municipality states you should always keep your campfires supervised and keep them under control. ‘
