The Grey Bruce Health Unit reports 13 new Covid cases in the region on Saturday.
According to Public Health, five residents in Owen Sound, one in Hanover, one in Chatsworth, one in Kincardine, one in Meaford, one in West Grey, one in Southgate, one in Blue Mountains, and one in South Bruce Peninsula tested positive.
With seven previous cases now resolved, the region’s active known case load goes up to 54.
Four Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally, with three being treated outside the region.
19 Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
More than 217,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Monday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Saturday.
