The Grey Bruce Health Unit reports five new Covid cases in the region on Saturday.
Public health says two residents from Owen Sound, two from Blue Mountains, and one from Saugeen Shores tested positive.
With four previous cases now resolved, the region’s active known case load goes up to 46.
Five Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally, with two being treated outside the region.
20 Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
More than 220,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Saturday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Saturday.
