The Municipality of Meaford is set to begin the repaving of Trowbridge Street East and a municipal parking lot next week.
A release notes the work will begin on Aug. 30. It will be occurring between Sykes Street East and Bayfield Street, and at 22 Trowbridge Street East.
Tri-Capital construction will be working to make improvements to the sidewalks at the intersection of Trowbridge and Sykes Street North.
New accessible parking spots will also be installed next to the Meaford Public Library.
The work will be going on Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is expected to be finished by Sept. 17.
Residents can expect traffic delays along Trowbridge Street while the construction is ongoing.
Be advised full road closures may be needed for a short time during parts of the construction process.
On street parking will not be available during this time, but parking will be available on Bayfield Street at the Market Square and at 28 Nelson Street.
