Grey Bruce OPP say a cyclist is facing charges after failing to stop for police in Wiarton.
Police note on Sept. 9 around midnight, officers responded to a report of suspicious people on bikes in the area of George Street.
OPP say when they arrived on the scene, they found the suspect matching the description provided and attempted to stop them. The suspect however ignored the officer and failed to stop, but police say they were able to apprehend the suspect a short time later and placed them under arrest.
An investigation led police to charge the 22-year-old from South Bruce Peninsula with failing to stop and possession of drugs.
The accused was released but has been given a court date for mid-October in Owen Sound.
