West Grey Police say a month-long investigation has resulted in about $20,000 worth of drugs being taken off the street.
Police say on Oct. 31, the West Grey Police Criminal Investigations Unit executed a search warrant which led to the seizure of a large quantity of fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine and cannabis.
West Grey Police did not disclose the location where the search warrant was carried out.
As a result, police say a 29-year-old man from West Grey was arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of meth for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of cannabis for the purpose of distribution.
Police say the accused was brought to the West Grey Police headquarters where he was held for a bail hearing, and remanded into custody.
