Two more New Year’s babies have been announced at local hospitals in Grey Bruce.
The first baby born at Hanover and District Hospital in 2022 was born on January 3 at 9:49 a.m. to proud parents Mauricia & Ezra Miller. Baby boy Oscar weighed 8lbs, 11.5oz and measured 20 inches.
At South Bruce Grey Health Centre’s Walkerton site, Jessica and Christopher Barnes of Kincardine welcomed their New Year’s baby Robert, “Robbie” Anthony Barnes. He was born at 6:43 p.m. on January 1 weighing 7lbs 3oz.
Bayshore Broadcasting News reported the first New Year’s baby earlier this week. Nova Storm Wallace was born on January 1st at 5:05 a.m. to parents Cassandra Abbott and Cory Wallace, weighing 9.9 lbs at the Owen Sound hospital.
Nova is their third child, becoming the newest sibling to their other children Celeste and Roman.
