The Snowen Sound Frolics event is returning to Owen Sound next month.
The city says this follows the successful event held in 2021, and is a safe, physically distanced experience which allows residents to explore the city’s natural and built amenities.
The event is kicking off on Feb. 1 and will run throughout the month all while highlighting 12 outdoor landmarks throughout Owen Sound.
To find these locations, residents can visit the city’s tourism social media pages, @cityowensound and @OSTourism for weekly releases of locations.
When visiting these locations, take a snapshot with each of the 12 various Snowen Sound Frolics signs and collect the code word on each of the signs.
By sharing the photos on social media by using #SnowenSound, put the code words together to find the secret Snowen Sound Frolics sentence.
Participants who share their photos from all 12 locations and decode the secrete sentence, will be entered for a chance to win one of two Snowen Sound Frolics grand prizes, valued at $500 each.
The winners will then be announced after the four-week campaign.
More giveaways will be given to those who like, comment and share their photos throughout the campaign, with a bonus giveaway on Family Day weekend.
