Bruce Power has been named one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People for the 11th year straight.
The company was recognized as a national leader in providing high-quality workplaces and programs for young people who are starting their careers.
The Canada’s Top 100 Employers 2022 Top Employers for Young People looked at Bruce Power for its focus on young employees through career development programs and opportunities, the on-site North American Young Generation Nuclear (NAYGN) organization, and for developing future employees through its development student, summer student and internship programs.
Bruce Power’s Executive Vice President, Human Resources Cathy Sprague says the company’s long-standing place as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People is a reflection of Bruce Power’s success in providing opportunities and support to pursue a variety of roles and advance their career in the nuclear industry.
Sprague says, “our employees are proud of the work we do and can take advantage of the wide range of opportunities available on our site to build a meaningful career in nuclear.”
Canada’s Top Employers for Young People is an editorial competition going on 20 years. It recognizes employers offering the nation’s best workplaces and programs for young people starting off their careers.
NAYGN Co-Chair of Bruce Power Chapter Jason Ng offered his congratulations to Bruce Power on once again making the list.
“Despite our membership working remotely, we took all the proper precautions to host career development sessions, local community events and Covid supply distributions. The inspiration of our future leaders to follow their passion and achieve their highest potential simply would not be possible without the strong support of Bruce Power,” says Ng.
