The City of Owen Sound says the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library is going to be available for short term warming today.
The library will be open to residents to warm themselves up for half an hour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Emergency shelter services are being provided by Grey County through YMCA Housing Services, and those looking for shelter can call housing services at 519-371-9230.
Residents are also asked to check on vulnerable family, friends, neighbours, and isolated seniors during extreme cold weather conditions.
Anyone who needs assistance can also call 211 for warming centre or emergency shelter information.
