Owen Sound police say the REACH Centre’s stolen tricycle has been recovered and returned.
The centre reported on Feb. 7 to police that sometime overnight, their outdoor storage shed had been broken into and their adult accessible tricycle was stolen.
On Feb. 8 at 9 a.m., police say they received a report from a downtown business that the accessible tricycle was abandoned behind their office building.
Police say officers attended and retrieved the bicycle and it was recognized as belonging to REACH. The bike was then immediately returned.
Police say the bike sustained minor damage and anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Owen Sound Police at 519-376-1234.
The REACH Centre in downtown Owen Sound is a charitable organization which provides programming for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
