The libraries of Bruce and Grey counties are calling on all young film makers as the Youth Film Festival is returning.
The film submission deadline is set for May 13 with a screening of the selected films premiering at the Owen Sound Galaxy Cinemas in June.
The short animated or live action films are given a cap of 10 minutes in length and submissions are open to students through grades seven to 12 in Grey and Bruce counties.
By entering your film, you have a chance to win cash prizes.
The winners will be selected by a panel of judges and will be announced after the screening.
The films will also air on the Wightman TV Channel 6 in southern Bruce and Grey counties and may also be selected to be included in the Meaford International Film Festival.
Application forms can be found at participating public libraries or on the Owen Sound library website.
Reach out to Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library Deputy Chief Librarian Nadia Danyluk at 519-376-6623 or ndanyluk@library.osngupl.ca for more details.
