Hanover Police say the Hanover and District Hospital is returning to normal hours this morning following a bomb threat.
Police say on Feb. 25 around 10:25 p.m., the hospital received a bomb threat and the building was evacuated for precautionary reasons and was secured.
According to Hanover Chief of Police Christopher Knoll, the police were joined by the Hanover Fire Department and Grey County Paramedics.
Police say a search was conducted with negative results as nothing suspicious was found.
As a result of this incident, a criminal investigation has been opened and police say they would like to speak to a woman who was operating a dark coloured car at the hospital and noted as taking pictures around the premises shortly after 5 p.m.
Hanover Police is reminding residents making a bomb threat is a serious criminal offence that carries penalties of imprisonment.
