A husky that was swept away in the Saugeen River yesterday has been found safe.
Hanover Police Chief Christopher Knoll says in a social media post, the pup has been reunited with its owners.
“As we suspected, the husky made it to the river bank and was found last night by a passerby,” Knoll says.
The dog was swept away in the Saugeen River in fast moving waters Thursday near the South Line Bridge.
