Grey Bruce OPP say a deceased individual has been recovered from Lake Huron.
Police say on June 29 around 8:16 a.m., the OPP, Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation Police, Saugeen Shores Fire Department, Sauble Beach Fire Department, Grey County Paramedic Services, and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Trenton responded to a report of an individual who had entered the water in Lake Huron.
OPP say around 9:50 a.m., the individual was removed from the water but lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful.
The individual, identified as 50-year-old Robert Klingbeil from Burlington, was pronounced deceased.
Police say the OPP are continuing to investigate with the assistance of the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team.
