South Bruce OPP say two motorists have been charged with stunt driving.
Police say on July 1 at 8:24 a.m., an OPP officer on patrol along Bruce County Road 4 in Culross Township noticed a vehicle driving quickly. The vehicle’s speed was clocked in at 145 kilometres an hour in an 80 zone.
As a result, police say a 54-year-old resident from North Huron Township was charged with racing a motor vehicle.
Police say on July 4 at 7:06 a.m., an OPP officer on patrol along Bruce County Road 86 in Huron Township noticed a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle’s speed was clocked at 134 kilometres an hour in an 80 zone.
As a result, police say at 61-year-old from Burlington was charged with racing a motor vehicle.
Police say the charge includes an immediate 30-day driver’s license suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment.
