A Grey Highlands resident is facing charges after a traffic stop by Grey Bruce OPP.
At around 5:30 yesterday, OPP pulled over a vehicle while doing proactive patrols.
The driver then fled the scene, but was found at a local business a short time later, and was then placed under arrest.
The 24-year-old driver was charged with:
– Flight from a peace officer
– Taking motor vehicle without consent
– Driving a vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
– Driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor
– Careless driving
– Driving a motor vehicle – no license
– Novice driver – B.A.C above zero
– Possess unmarked cigarettes
The accused was released and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
