Grey Bruce OPP say a Southgate resident is being charged following a break and enter in the township.
Police say on July 20 at 11:08 a.m., the OPP responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence on Proton Street South in Southgate.
OPP say officers arrived on the scene and placed the accused under arrest.
As a result, police say a 48-year-old man is being charged with breaking and entering a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound at a later date.
