Grey Bruce OPP say they are investigating a drowning in the Township of Chatsworth.
Police say on Aug. 18 at 5:44 p.m., the OPP, Chatsworth Fire Department, and Grey County Paramedic Services responded to a report to a drowning.
OPP say an individual was removed from the water and was pronounced deceased after life saving measures were unsuccessful. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
Police add they are aware of a video of the incident has surfaced on social media and they are taking steps to have it removed.
OPP say the investigation is underway and is considered non-suspicious in nature.
