The full road closure of East Bayshore Road will be extended for an additional three days.
The closures were necessary while crews were completing construction between 3rd Avenue East and 32nd Street East.
The closures will be in effect from Tuesday, August 23 until August 26th, between 7 am and 5 pm.
The City of Owen Sound says that emergency vehicles will be allowed through the area as needed.
Traffic had to be diverted from the area for an additional three days because of concerns raised over worker safety.
