Fire hydrant flushing has begun in Meaford as part of their annual maintenance program.
The municipality says the flushing undertaken by environmental services staff is taking place throughout the month from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Meaford advises residents that during this time, they may notice a slight discolouration or cloudy appearance of the water, as well as reduced pressure when flushing.
Residents who experience cloudy or coloured water are advised to run the cold water tap in the bathtub to clear the service lines.
