The Owen Sound & District Chamber of Commerce has announced its annual Business Excellence Award recipients.
This Mardi Gras style event on Oct. 20 welcomed 125 attendees to the Best Western Inn on the Bay, where winners were selected for 13 categories.
Over 130 nominations were received and were voted on by their peers in business and the community.
The winners include:

The European Bakery Cafe – Hospitality Award
Miske Paralegal Services – New Business of the year
Jaxwood Worx – Entrepreneur of the Year (Under 35 years of age)
Schooley Mitchell Miguel Cardenas – Entrepreneur of the Year (Over 35 years of age)
Owen Sound I.D.A. Pharmacy – Service Excellence Award
D.J. Peat Roofing & Sheet Metal – Skilled Trade Award (Six+ employees)
Pioneer Masonry – Skilled Trade Award (One to five employees)
Billy Bishop Museum – Community Service Award (Not-for-Profit)
Ashlee Cunningham Mortgage Architects – Small Office/Home Office
Total Recovery Massage Therapy & Wellness – Business of the Year (one to 24 employees)
J.D McArthur Tire Service – Business of the Year (25+ employees)
