Bruce Power is supporting Huron Shores Hospice’s Giving Tuesday by matching the first $5,000 raised.
The hospice is participating in the global day of generosity on Nov. 29 to celebrate humanity, and Bruce Power is assisting the fundraising efforts to help raise $10,000.
Bruce Power CEO and President Mike Rencheck says Giving Tuesday is about individuals and organizations giving back in any way they can.
“Bruce Power is dedicated to being an active partner in our community and we are proud to support organizations such as Huron Shores Hospice, who provide support to community members in difficult times,” says Rencheck.
Huron Shores Hospice Executive Director Cathy Herbert adds they are grateful for the support they have received from Bruce Power.
“Our year-end campaign kicked off on Giving Tuesday, will help sustain our community-owned hospice so families can continue to count on us to deliver quality compassionate care and support well into the future. We have a wonderful community of support and are very happy for Bruce Power’s offer to double the impact of our local donor’s donations,” says Herbert.
