The preparation continues for Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada
The 4 day festival based in Owen Sound begins January 18th and climaxes on Saturday January 21st with 13 hours of NHL Hockey utilizing Owen Sound as the broadcast headquarters.
There are a number of activities on Saturday January 21st that will be conducted at Harrison park.
Jim McManaman is one of the co-chairs for Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada and is overseeing the Josh Armstrong Memorial Road Hockey Tournament.
Named in honour of a young hockey player who passed at early age, the Josh Armstrong Tournament will feature more than 50 youngsters participating in a day long affair.
There will be four teams of 7 players in each of the U11 & 12 Division and the U13 & 14 Division

McManaman also STRESSES that on January 21st, there will be NO Parking at Harrison Park. Instead, participants and spectators are encouraged to walk into the park or take one of the 3 shuttles that will be running from the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Centre, from the Scotiabank Parking Lot and from the South End Fellowship Baptist Church
