Grey Bruce OPP say an altercation in Southgate has resulted in charges.
Police say on Dec. 31 around 7:46 p.m., officers responded to a report of an altercation on Grey Road 109 in the township.
Once on the scene, OPP say an individual was placed under arrest after a brief struggle with officers.
As a result, a 40-year-old has been charged with assault, resisting a peace officer, and mischief under $5,000.
The accused was released and is set to appear in court in Owen Sound at a later date.
