Bruce County is sharing the results of a satisfaction survey that was given at Brucelea Haven and Gateway Haven.
The survey found that 94% of residents and 92% of families expressed overall satisfaction with the long-term care facilities.
Megan Garland, who is the Director of Long Term Care & Senior Services says that Bruce County is committed to providing quality resident-centred care.
In total, 149 surveys were completed, with 76 from residents and 73 by families.
The county says that the feedback helps the homes maintain their commitment to service excellence.
Garland says that there are improvements to be made, and those will be addressed with an action plan that will be made in collaboration with Resident and Family Councils.
