A Hamilton man is facing fraud-related charges after a series of transactions.
Just before 8 o’clock Wednesday morning, Grey Bruce OPP had responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Grey Road 7 in Meaford.
Officers then responded to more calls that day about the same vehicle.
Police discovered that the vehicle had been sold via what is believed to be a fraudulent transaction online.
Grey Bruce OPP arrested the accused at around 5 o’clock that afternoon.
He’s charged with two counts of Fraud over $5000, as well as property obtained by crime over $5000. He’s scheduled to appear in an Owen Sound Court at a later date.
