Last week the SPCA in Saskatoon introduced a new program which allows people to take dogs out of the shelter for outings!
The Borrowed Buddies Program will benefit the dogs in many ways:
It’s also super beneficial for those who take the dogs out as it will mean companionship, stress relief and who knows, maybe they will end up falling in love with the dog and adopt them for good! Those who are interested in taking part will be asked to fill out an application and will be matched with a dog!
I absolutely love this idea & would love to see local shelters offer a similar service if possible.
