The town of the Blue Mountains is working on its 2021 budget.
The draft budget document states the 2021 Tax Rate currently carries a
decrease of -1.01%.
This decrease is because of a freeze in property assessment.
The average property owner will see a zero percent increase on their assessment.
With the proposed tax rate, the average home assessed at $620,000 may see the town portion
of their property tax bill decrease by $1.
Committee of the Whole continues budget discussions next Monday.
The 2021 Proposed Budget will be tabled for discussion during the #TBM Committee of the Whole meetings on December 2 & 7-9, 2020.
