The town of Wasaga Beach is making a slight change to who can use which pod at the main beach.
Visitors can now use a portion of Pod 1 which has been reserved for residents only.
The town reports that that pod hasn’t been fully used.
On Saturday, July 25, 164 people used Pod 1. But it has room for 254 people.
The town says before Saturday, only 40 to 50 residents had been using the pod.
So the town has decided that two thirds of Pod 1 will stay available for residents and one third opened for visitors.
The entrance will be shifted from the east side of the pod to about the centre of the pod with access off the Beach Drive sidewalk.
Pods 2 to 4 remain for visitors to use.
