Grey County council has approved a number of changes to traffic and parking regulations with the aim of improving road safety.
The County says changes include the reduction of speed limits and additional no parking zones on some County roads.
Speed limit changes will be introduced on sections of Grey Roads 2, 15, 31 and 119.
No parking zones will be added on sections of 10th Street (Hanover), Grey Road 2 and Grey Road 18.
Speed limit changes include the following:
– Grey Road 2 south of Maxwell will be reduced to 60 km/h
– Grey Road 15 from Highway 26 reduced to 50 km/h for 575 metres and a new transition zone with a speed limit of 70 km/h
– A section of Grey Road 31 will be reduced from 80 km/h to 60 km/h
– Grey Road 119 from Ravenna to near the 4th Line including the hamlet of Banks increased to 70 km/h west of Banks and a reduced to 50 km/h within Banks
