The Grey Bruce Health Unit reports 8 new Covid-19 cases in the region.
According to Public Health, the cases include two people from Grey-Bruce, two from Blue Mountains, one person from Southgate, one from West Grey, one from Meaford and one from Owen Sound.
There is also one new case in Neyaashiinigmiing (Chippewa’s of Nawash First Nation) – it’s the first case to be identified there.
The active caseload in the region is at 33.
Two people are currently hospitalized in Grey Bruce due to the virus.
Public Health says there is currently one outbreak in the region that’s been declared at Normanby Community School in Ayton.
