The town of Wasaga Beach has received word of how much it is getting from the Safe Restart Agreement.
The town is getting $883,780.
Of that total amount, $806,660 will be to help with operating pressures and costs associated with the pandemic.
And $77,180 is for operating pressures relating to transit services.
Town staff have been keeping track of expenses and lost revenue since the emergency was declared in March.
Staff will be presenting these figures at a future council meeting.
Today Mayor Nina Bifolchi received letters from provincial Ministers Clark and Mulroney advising that the Town is being provided $883,780 in federal-provincial funding under the Safe Restart Agreement regarding COVID-19 operating pressures. #MovingWBforward
