The City of Owen Sound is closing several municipal facilities for the Easter long weekend.
City Hall and the Greenwood Cemetery office will be closed April 18 and April 21 before returning to regular hours at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Public Works Administration Building is also closed April 18 and the 21, but will resume regular hours on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m.
The Owen Sound Transit and Mobility Transit is closed today, but will reopen on Monday. The Guelph Owen Sound Transit service, meanwhile, will continue to operate on its regular schedule.
The Transfer Station in the city is closed today and will resume regular hours on Monday. Waste is not being collected today, this will instead be done on Monday.
The Leaf and Yard Waste Compost site will remain open this weekend.
The Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public Library is closed today, but will be open on Saturday for regular hours, before closing again on Sunday and Monday. It will resume regular hours on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
The Tom Thomson Art Gallery, is also closed today as well as on Sunday and Monday, but will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre will be open throughout the long weekend, but the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre will be closed until Sunday before reopening on Monday at 5 p.m. The YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce is open today as well as on Saturday and Monday, but will close on Sunday.
