A new housing development is proposed in Chatsworth.
A report is coming before Grey County council Thursday about a proposal known as the George Street — Chatsworth Subdivision. It would include 38 single-detached home lots, a commercial block and two multi-residential blocks containing 13 units.
The development is proposed on lands just south of the Highway 6 & 10 split in Chatsworth. A new township road would be built as part of it, with connections to Highway 6 and George Street, the county staff report explains.
“The Township of Chatsworth is the owner of the subject lands and has initiated the development,” a Grey County planning report says.
Staff are bringing the report to Grey County council for information purposes at Thursday’s meeting.
