The Hanover Barons are Schmalz Cup champions after a 5-4 overtime win over the Essex 73s.
The Barons completed the sweep of Essex on Saturday night, with Aaron Dukeshire notching the game winner 10:30 into the extra frame.
Hanover finished the regular season 24-5-0-0-0, earning the number one spot in the North Pollock Division.
They were also able to dominate their postseason opponents, sweeping the Goderich Flyers in the quarter-finals, then the Kincardine Bulldogs in the semi-finals.
In Round 3, they sent the Fergus Whalers packing in five games, and the Orillia Terriers in five games in the conference finals.
Their hardest test was a seven-game Schmalz Cup Semi-Final series against the Napanee Raiders.
