A lot of us are starting to look at our summer calendars to make plans!
If you’re hoping to hit up some Ontario Parks, make sure you definitely do it on July 18th!
This day, for one day only, Ontario Parks is offering free day-use access to all operating parks across the province in celebration of Healthy Parks Healthy People Day.
That means no entry fees—just an open invitation to explore the trails, beaches, and natural beauty these parks have to offer.
Healthy Parks Healthy People Day is part of a global movement that recognizes how time in nature can boost our physical, mental, and social well-being. From reducing stress and anxiety to improving heart health and self-esteem, the benefits of a day outdoors are well worth making time for.
As you may already know the Ontario Parks offer an array of programs and facilities offering great outdoor experiences. You can hike, cycle, paddle, swim or simply take in all the views.
To guarantee your spot, visit Ontario Parks’ reservation service to obtain a daily vehicle permit in advance for one of the many participating parks up to five days in advance of your trip.
To find a participating provincial park near you, use the Ontario Parks locator tool.
