Some residents in Georgian Bluffs will be experiencing a disruption to their water service today.
Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., residents along Ishwar Drive, Indira Avenue, Sutacriti Street, McIntosh Drive, and Presqu’ile Road will be affected by the planned disruption while repairs are being made to the Presqu’ile Booster Station.
While the work is ongoing, residents may experience low or no water pressure, as well as temporarily water discolouration.
If you water is discoloured, residents are advised to run cold water from all faucets for four to five minutes, and to not use hot water or do laundry until the water runs clear.
“This work is necessary to maintain reliable service and ensure public safety. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this maintenance period,” says the township in a release.
