Parks Canada says extremely high traffic is expected this long weekend in Bruce Peninsula National Park
They say this is one of the busiest weekends of the year, and all parking and camping reservations for this weekend
are fully booked.
The only way to access the Grotto, Halfway Log Dump, or Cyprus Lake Trails is with a confirmed parking or camping reservation.
When parking lots are full, there is no other access to the national park.
They’re asking those without a reservation to plan their visit for another date.
During the 2024 Civic Holiday long weekend last year, over 2112 cars that arrived without reservations were turned away because all parking spaces in the national park were full.
