The hours of operation at the Covid assessment centre at the Hanover and District Hospital are being scaled back.
As of March 1, the assessment centre will operate from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The hospital organization says in a release the assessment centre has seen reduced volumes over the last several weeks.
“In addition, Public Health’s COVID-19 vaccine roll-out has progressed in long-term care settings and is now starting to roll-out to other sectors in the region,” a statement from the Hanover and District Hospital explains.
Grey Bruce has several other locations for Covid testing: Owen Sound, Southampton, Kincardine, Wiarton and Lion’s Head.
All three local hospital organizations — Grey Bruce Health Services, South Bruce Grey Health Centre and Hanover and District Hospital — require people seeking a test at an assessment centre to pre-book an appointment.
